Hajra Raza

Hajra Raza

Founder, AARC Therapy

MSc. Psychology (University of Surrey, UK), Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Interventions (CBT), Level 3 Certification in Humanistic Counselling, CPCAB, UK,

Individual and Couple Therapist

I’m Hajra Raza, a Counselling Psychologist practicing since 2022. My journey into psychology started with a deep curiosity about why we feel and behave the way we do. Originally studying media, I shifted paths to better understand human emotions, trauma, and healing. My research on PTSD focused on why trauma memories linger even when the original stressors are long gone and how our brains are naturally wired to hold onto negative experiences.

This passion led me to found AARC—a space where people can feel safe to explore difficult emotions, process trauma, and build healthier ways of coping. Whether working with individuals or couples, my approach is warm, structured, and tailored to each client’s needs. In couples therapy, I draw from the Structural and Gottman methods to help partners strengthen their bond and find shared meaning in their conflicts.

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens in safe, supportive relationships. At AARC, we’re here to walk that journey with you.
